I noticed a few weeks ago that my colleague at work was some how unhappy. We were not so close then, so I could not have asked what the matter was at once. But three days later, she was acting strange. I decided to ask her after work so I invited her out for coffee. When we were relaxed a bit I asked what the matter was with her. She told me how it was difficult coping with all her house bills and taking care of her disabled son. She was not alone in this because the cost of living had unusually gone up and everyone was complaining. What she needed is some benefits for her son's needs. I told her of the disability benefit from the government's benefits agency. She had never heard of it, so I told her what there was to know about the benefits. I even told her that she could apply for the benefits online so that she would not have to miss work. Today, when I see her smile, I thank God I was able to help her.
